He needs to remove delta ring assembly to put his Troy Ind. forearm on. The forearm clamps directly to the barrel nut so he has to remove the barrel first to get the D-ring off... or he could just cut it off but thats cheating

In all honesty, despite owning one and wanting to think highly of it...

Do you think it can take some real, good hard abuse? What is your impression of the mounting system? The way its an exposed ring? Do you feel it would ever come loose?

Oh yeah, and also included is my old Para P14-45.
