How about this one? You gotta kind of zoom in though. Different rifle also with a procomp.

Yes I can see that one! In in tapatalk for iPhone. Maybe that's why. Sweet rifle. That a FAL?

I ordered a procomp. Got tired of the amount of muzzle rise with just the thread protector on it.

It's a good choice and performs just like the MB556 just without the can/warden ability.

It's a Sig Sauer 556. You can see the details of it in one of the threads in my signature line.

      This is my FAL.

Before I went featureless and upgraded the Sig

VG6 Gamma on this one. One of THE most effective MB's out there. There's little to no rise at all.

Being a Star Wars fan, I actually like it. Handling and use isn't bad at all either.

As above, the FAL is a great candidate for featureless. Here is mine, recently purchased from Atlantic Arms..

Dang it, Bobby. You and your extra long mags. Those things are so hard to wield.

Agreed, in the standard DSA SA58 configuration, all you need is a grip fin. You've got better parts than I do. I really like the updated sights. Are there quick elevation adjustments?

Mine is a LMT/DSA receiver built from an Imbel kit. Of course US 922r compliance parts are there.

I've decided to go featureless instead of registering. Here are the rifles I'm modding, in stock form.

To change the Magpul stocks to "non telescoping" I cut a piece of 3/4" schedule 40 PVC to ~3.5" long and inserted it into the stock. You can see the white PVC plug in the rear stock "ports". The stocks no longer telescope.

Next, I ordered two of these Barrel Extenders and replaced the A2 flash hider with them. The are a faux A2 muzzle device with mock slots.

Changing the flash hider out was very easy with a 3/4" wrench. I shot the rifles yesterday and they shoot great! No more A2 concussion, no muzzle rise and the new devices only added a couple ounces to the end of the barrel. They are shiny and I need to figure out a way to make them match the flat barrel finish.

My LGS is going to call me when their grip wraps come in and I'll be done.

I like the A2 Foxhole MB from Rousch sports. You can't beat $15 for a cheap, but functional and aesthetically appeasing fix. It does have the shiny melonite-like coating to it so it won't match with the phosphate barrel coatings. It comes in stainless for your stainless folks though.

They were only $9.80 and shipping only took two days. I did order two new crush washers from the same seller.

May I suggest electrical tape for the PVC in the stock.
You can wrap the pipe completely so your not looking at the white though the stock and then give it some extra wraps on the end to keep it snug. This will to two things. Keep it from rattling around inside and being annoying. And second if the stock is taken off the pipe doesn't just fall out on it's own.

Just got my MDT fixed stock today and mounted on a Power Technik AR15 adapter to my featureless Scar 17s. No more Ugg boot, lol. Setting up as a DMR rifle.
