What position is the Magpul Fixed Carbine stock equivalent to? Not full collapse, right?

Not quite but pretty damn close. I could not even shoulder it without my wrist touching my chest. I had to drill a hole in the buffer tube and mount mine further back.

Thanks, I found a photo. Silly me; should've googled. Looks like position 2.

I am about 5'7, so in that position, the M-4 or AR fits comfortably, especially when I wear raid gear. My nose touches the charging handle, and the butt stock goes into the shoulder pocket easily. But I prefer the SOPMOD in that position.

Interesting. I have found that the only way to get an AR into a good firing position while wearing a plate carrier is to tuck it inside the vest. Thus the carrier does not increase the length of pull at all. My personal AR rifles are pinned and featureless, but our duty LE guns are not, as they belong to the department and don't need to be "California legal."

I'm not sure what application "raid gear" would have with a privately owned featureless pinned AR, which would not likely be authorized for use in any sort of official duty capacity.

Just go my Thordsen FRS-15 stock today.

I have a Surefire Warden, is this legal on a featureless?

As long as it's not a vertical foregrip or a flare launcher it is legal.

Except he's asking if it would somehow change the classification of his muzzle brake into something else, like a flash hider, which is neither a vertical foregrip nor a flare launcher but is still a feature.

Surefire mainly makes flashlights so I thought he was talking about his light.
