    spot on.

I wouldnt say I like it better than a regular AR set up, but it isnt bad at all.
Not that I have that problem anymore

Well, I had the complete lower receiver already. Here is what I bought to complete it. Basically the complete upper half for $540.

I picked up everything locally except the PSA upper.

    PSA upper $199
    LMT BCG $99 (CG marketplace)
BCM ambi charging handle $67 (Riflegear)
    MOE stock $29 (Riflegear)
    Thread protector $15 (Riflegear)
    Nikon Scope $130 (CG marketplace)

I'm not sure what the lower would cost to build, but maybe somewhere around $300-$350 if you bought all the parts from PSA?

Thank you. It is a blast to shoot. Kids, women, etc., really enjoy shooting it due to the extreamly low recoil impulse...more of a push then a sharp blow like a larger caliber rifle...and muzzle blast.

I have really come to like the FRS-15 stock. So much so that I will be converting over my other AR's to them.

Without fail, everyone who has handled and/or shot this carbine all agree that it is very comfortable. And they all think it looks "more evil or scarier" then a regular configured AR. I agree!

I like that 1911 grip set up... I started something along those lines with a hammerhead awhile back but got side tracked..

Can't tell from pix but there are potentially 2 problems with that set up.
    1) could be construed as a thumb hole stock (especially if the FRS portion is in contact with the ace stock portion

    2) if the FRS portion is NOT attached to the stock portion, then it may be a pistol grip, as the FRS legality presumes the entire device is actually a stock, not a grip. The argument for being a stock becomes hard to make IF it isn't actually attached to the stock. And again, if it IS attached, see issue #1.

But that's not legal advice, so approach it however you please.
