Given how flexible and weak it is, it's obvious it was never meant to be used as an actual stock, regardless of how much it might look like one.Comment

The small screw that fell in? Screw it into whatever it's supposed to be screwed into....

Hi all,
Trying to find either a factory Springfield M1A synthetic or USGI fiberglass stock to replace my snoopy selector cut out walnut stock.
Reason is the top shelf of my safe fell, and a small screw managed to find its way into the cutout hole.
Luckily I heard it jangling around inside and got it out before I had to use it.
Anyway, everywhere I look, its out of stock.Comment

I have the button type dummy's from hawk. Shipping wasn't exactly fast, but I love the narrow GI profile wood stock, and the dummy button looks cool. I keep one of my rifles in a beater gi synthetic stock that I painted, and the other nicer one In the wood stock with dummy button.Comment
