Here's a couple places that are actually cheaper and will add the mag lock for a reasonable price. Classic city was kind enough to send me a 10rd mag for an ak pistol I ordered. Haven't dealt with prepper as far as a firearm, but other things they ship pretty fast.

The best online gun store to buy guns online for prepping. Prepper Gun Shop is your one-stop shop to prep for the apocalypse!

If anyone knows of any other places that will ship aks to cali, can you please list them?

Atlantic doesn't make the maglocks. They use pricier name brand maglocks and pass on the charge to the customer. Essentially they are putting it on without extra charge. Solar Tactical maglocks are $40-$45 everywhere. Yes there are cheaper alternatives and knock-offs but I think more would complain about them using inferior or ripped off products if they used those instead. Withholding mags sucks, but they aren't the only CA friendly company to do that and their prices are good enough to make up for it in most cases. No fee layaway and great customer service goes a long way too. Not to mention they will give a calguns discount if you ask.

My buddy got a Saiga from Prepper and had lots of good things to say about their friendly and quick service.

Atlantic firearms C39 Ak costs $675, Comes with 2-30 round mags.
Mag lock costs $45(maybe $5 to make). Lets say each mag cots $20 a piece.

They say "There will be no substitutions or discounts for removal of magazines or any other custom magazine"

You pay them $45 to screw on the mag lock and they get to keep 2 mags they can resell. Sound right? and you get a cali legal rifle with Zero mag. kinda a jip.
Contact audiophil2 and see what he would charge you to put a mag lock on it or make it featureless and block the mags.
