I googled trying to dig up dirt in other forums, but didn't find any for stuck cases and for this manufacturer.

Anything else on the builder though, failures to extract, anything along those lines? Maybe a search on the barrel manufacturer?

Ya, this manufacturer won't disclose barrel maker...ESS or Green Mountain etc...
Stuck case = failure to extract..... in my book.

My point was to google different verbiage instead of just stuck case. Again, I assume you did, but simply verifying.

There are very few builders left out there that don't have negative feedback and these guys are working with you.

What is it with AKs and canted front sight mounts? Don't they have a jig or something to insure they are vertical? I bought a Maadi AK back in the day that arrived with the FSM tipped about 20 degrees to on side. How does that happen?

nah. depends on who built the rifle. lots of guys got caught up in the whole AK is infallible rush following Sandy Hook and bought sub par builds from Century, IO, Waffen Werks and home builds. Best thing to do with any gun is to buy factory or from a reputable source like Arsenal or learn to build your own.

They do, but when you press the barrel in things can shift a bit. AR-15s with A2 sights also get canted FSB's.

That was a US made barrel. Prob a century build.

Yep, all my 7N6 is from those decades, who knows where it's been and the storage conditions.

I do need to try some GT and Red Army.

BTW, the barrel pic you posted, any additional info on that, barrel manufacturer and builder? That's just... wow.

I am going to say this is WW gun or Classic arms build. The issue in all of this like going to be either the barrel or out of spec receiver . I would also want to see a picture of the back of the bolt carrier too.

Every MFG has lemons, look at the threads on the SLR-106 not working. Arsenal fan boys always get their panties in a bunch when you mention it.

here is the DDI / WW thread. DDI has gone the extra mile and fixed up all the WW customers up with repaired or replaced guns. All the guns there have exactly the same issue as your. It would be helpful to know what receiver and who built it to help diagnose it. Common thread with all the rifles is they started having issues after just a small number of rounds, but much more than any MFG or smith would shoot to test function.

I was thinking waffen works as well. DDI is giving stand up customer service from what i hear and is stepping up quality, not thay WW was bad quality at all.
