The HK design and manufacturing is perhaps some of the best in the world. They enjoy some of the strictest tolerances and best engineering available. Since when did we start believing that we could copy it with home tools in our garage. If you want an HK (or even a decent copy), go buy one (copys are a whole lot cheaper and more readily available than the real thing) - you will never be able to make it in your garage to the same standards I agree with the others - why bother? (Go make an AK - every 3rd world country out there has been crapping them out for years)

Once the flat is stamped its just bent sheet metal and some welding. The welding is the harder part.

These guns were designed to be cranked out en mass and quick to manufacture.
