    HK 94/MP5 flats..How to build?

I just come across this thread http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...=122740&page=3
I just got inspired we need to move on to the next step the MP5/94 build from flats. However how do we go about this process?. In this aspect im I'm a nob, never have said that but there is a first for everything.
I thought I would ask the question here to get more exposure to the matter.
Thanks to all and your input would be appreciated.

Very interesting, Can some one explain in detail how this process is done.
    What is a AOW?
Please PM me or post details.

Search Button NO.... Not enough info. Thanks everybody.

This is an excellent and new disease MP5 terminal effect the later stages of the BRD...MP5 terminal effect evolution...it only gets better

      Cool, one question answered, thanks.

Now we need a mover and a shaker to make it happen, anybody has experience folding the flats first hand?

      Can this be Cali Legal?

      Any serious build parties?

Cali legal flat build yes..meeting min overall/barrel length Fixed mag via raddlock etc. Same as building an ak from a flat.

So this would be considered a home build? no 10 day ###### period?
Do you have to put a personalized "identification mark" in receiver?

Im seeing a new project in the future.

No 10 day wait on a flat build. But it be much faster and a whole lot easier to buy one and wait the 10 days.

its just not worth it IMO, sure its a cool gun and all, but were limited to 10 rounds, extending the stock or barrel, or building it as a pistol, all with a magazine lock. And on top of that the kits cost 1500, and iirc the flats are around 250? Then you add in your US made partsa nd youve spent about 2k, and you better hope you dont mess it up building it.

IIRC, the Vulcan is a pure blowback and doesn't have the true roller-delayed blowback as the CA-94 or the HK-94.

The HK design and manufacturing is perhaps some of the best in the world. They enjoy some of the strictest tolerances and best engineering available. Since when did we start believing that we could copy it with home tools in our garage. If you want an HK (or even a decent copy), go buy one (copys are a whole lot cheaper and more readily available than the real thing) - you will never be able to make it in your garage to the same standards I agree with the others - why bother? (Go make an AK - every 3rd world country out there has been crapping them out for years)

There are a bunch of Gunsmiths and Home Builders that have built working HK Clones. Additionally, there are People in the abovementioned groups that have built Clones of better quality than an off the rack HK.

I think if Century can hack together a working HK clone, the rest of us knuckle draggers can probably pull it off. Guess I fall into the "Glass is half full" category of home builders.
