In other words they are just blanks that Mega chambers, contours and crowns to Rainer's "specification".

Also, I will never buy a Black Hole Weaponry barrel again. I was one of the ones that bought a barrel with jacked up rifling. I bought the 18" 1/11 twist with polygonal three rifling via Rainer Arms.

    What a joke that was!
On the rainier sites products info of their Match barrel. they claim they use shilen blank.

Our UltraMatch™ barrels start out as Shilen blanks and contoured to our specifications. We wanted the best balance between accuracy while keeping the weight down as much as possible. The Rainier Match Chamber is a modified .308 WIN-7.62 NATO chamber to produce ultimate reliability and accuracy shooting both the 7.62 NATO & .308 WIN rounds.""""

      That's just the blank.

You can get one from Shilen for 100$.

I'm using a 24 inch Bartlein on my GAP10 first gen. Shoots just as well as their bolt guns with the same handloads I use on their bolt gun. Runs perfect and smooth.

Rainier has varying grades of barrels, be aware of which one you order.

Just a heads up Mega barrels were reported to use Shillens. With research I found out they were actually Bagara barrels which is basically a company that was taken over and revamped by Shilen. So basically Shilen barrels but technically Bagara. I got Mega to confirm that via email as well.

So technically their barrels could still be from mega being that's the source Mega uses.

White Oak or JP would be my choice.
