Thanks for all of the reply's I ended up buying Pmags...... The price did it for me and I got enough good things said about them to convince me. I might buy an HK mag just to see but that will have to be at a later date.

I personally have never come across anythign that was sand resistant. Some of the sand in the desert is so fine its like talcum powder. and it gets EVERYWHERE. I remember putting nylon stockings over the air intake on the trucks to try and keep some of the sand out.

Botach is hit and miss with CS and shipping. I've ordered twice from them, first time was quick, second took about 3 weeks to get a simple item that wasn't even backordered.

You made the right choice and saved money. I think you'll find there's nothing lacking with PMags that would be there with HK mags - and you'll save some weight.

That's AlohaRover on the site. Ask him to say for himself.

I have a question about the Pmags.

Is the Chrome Silicon Spring worth the extra $3? I know its not a lot of money so if it adds durability or longer spring life I would prefer to get it. But if it really doesnt do anything than that $3 will be buying me a number 3 at InNout

                      SS sets more, CS doesn't...

You use your mags a lot and can't resupply - go CS.

If you're in a coastal/wet region and need more corrosion resistance, go SS.

Given you can buy CS springs from 44mag.com for $1.90, I'd just get them SS and upgrade as needed.
