Check out the M14 Forum. Fred kinda retired but is still filling orders, just taking his time about it.

I bought a vented handguard from him. Took about a month, but was exactly as described.

There are quite a few guys on that forum that own more than one M14/M1A. I own a scout, and while i'd like a few more, there are too many other guns that need me to be their daddy.

Fred was always slow but I bought some beautiful stocks from him, plus at that time you could get USGI Trigger Assemblies and other parts plus Slings........USMC Shooting Coat which I still use

Don't forget his Books, Patriots and Boston Gun Bible

Note: Fred is his Dogs name

I hear his new love is Appleseed

Price has gone through the roof of late, you can thank Clinton for dumping Hundreds of Thousands M-14's ( some never issued ) .....a lot of USGI Parts we could have used.

I would much rather have a collection of different guns than a bunch of M1As. My Scout is one of my favorite guns but I am much happier with a variety than more M1s.

True but what if I already have a variety of guns?

Thanks, and yeah, it took a few years for me to find configuration/variant that I really liked.

The Crazy Horse M21 A5 EBR with the PRS2 butt stock is good to go, but I am still making small changes to my CQB-16 Blackfeather.
I hope to have the configuration that's perfect for me nailed down within the next few weeks.

How was that bullpup stock? And would you ever do that again?

The only rifles of this type worth collecting are in museums or still in use by the military$$$not worth trying to build a collection!
