Used the MOE fixed carbine stock for my 1st build; went for a carbine look with it. Good length of pull, completely solid and looks great with a very modern flavor. Next lower will have the classic A2 riflestock for use with precision use uppers.

As far as grips, Ill vote for Monster Man grips. Feels perfect for me and after dealing with the owner of MMG personally, I cannot say enough good things about him and his professionalism and his company. Id recommend monsterman every day of the week. Ive got excellent feel and control of the rifle in my hands and it sits at a natural bolt rifle style position. +1000000 for MMG.

Why not just get an A2 birdcage style brake?

I never fire a carbine with the stock collasped any ways,

Anyone make their own diy kydex wrap?

I waited until I actually shot my featureless for the first time before I gave my opinion of FRS-15. I was up shooting with a bunch of friends, some with no experience shooting AR's and a couple that are LEOs that shoot the platform.
I was very pleased with my purchase. Despite the unusual look, the gun feels very natural and shoulders very nicely. Also, the height of the cheek weld on the buffer tube cover that comes with the stock is a natural height for a mid height optic. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase and am impressed with the product.
As for all of the others shooting with me. They all thought that the rifle had a very cool, albeit somewhat unconventional look. After everybody shot it they all came away impressed with the feel of the gun. And once I explained the reason for the unusual design and they realized that it had no bullet button and they were shooting 20 round mags, the cool factor was that much higher.

Not all featureless product manufacturers can make that claim.
Was just going to mention you. I love mine and wouldn't go back to a MM or grip wrap ever again.
