    AR15 Featureless stocks

I loathe my bullet button. Is anyone using featureless stocks on their AR? I know there's a lot of options out there, and will I have to change anything else?

If your ar is not configured with an adjustable stock or flash hider then just get a grip wrap and call it a day. If you have features you'll have to change the fh and pin the stock to fixed.

        Yeah....several options.

See the "CA Semiauto Ban(AW) ID Flowchart near the top left of this page for featureless requirements.
Many of us use "featureless" semi-autos including AR types.
          IMO B-buttons do suck.

            1. AR0074K A2 Buttstock Kit, Black $65.00 http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.c...ategory_id=296

            2. kYDEX SLIP ON GRIP $40.00 http://shop.solartactical.com/AR15-AR10_c36.htm

            3. Daniel Defense muzzle brake $69.00 http://www.midwayusa.com/product/127...08-steel-matte

No collapsible stock, no pistol grip, no flash hider = no features and no bullet button.

*Refer to CA Semiauto Ban(AW)ID Flowchart and confirm for yourself that your rifle is configured properly.

Forget a grip wrap, etc. the Thordsen FRS-15 stock is the only way to go IMHO. Extremely comfortable and "natural" feeling....like shouldering/shooting a hunting rifle or shotgun. And no bullet button needed.
I will be switching all my AR's over to the FRS-15 stocks.

Here is my 9mm AR with the FRS:

Bring hay for my horse....wine for my men....and mud for my turtle!

What do you hear ???...... Nothing but the rain. Well grab your gun and bring in the cat.

                    Yep, love mine

I only need an A2 stock for my MMG's and Kydex grips.

Another note, be sure to remember you can't use a flash hider (like the standard A2 'birdcage' that most AR's come with), but you can put a muzzle brake compensator instead (which imo works even better).

These are a no-no for featureless rifles:

                      But these should be ok:

Noobie question here....what's the difference between a flash hider and a muzzle brake? Is it easy enough to tell them apart just by looking at them?

Hammerhead AR-15 Stock Adapter $34.99 delivered:

California Department of Justice Bureau of Firearms attests that Hammerhead is not a pistol grip and therefore legal when used on a detachable magazine semiautomatic centerfire rifle with none of the features listed in CA PC 30515(a)(1)(A-F). Not all featureless product manufacturers can make that claim.
