Just bought 2, one to keep in the safe at home and one in reserve/to donate parts. I know it says no sales to CA but I called them and figured out how to get around that and then I finalized my order


What really attracted me (besides the price) is that I have heard that the M77 uses the same size dust cover as the Npap and Opap which means the TWS dogleg in yugo configuration should work on this. That and csspecs is going to be releasing mags for M77s in the next few months. And I just love Zastava products

**edit.... Order placed, I'm super excited. That price was awesome. Figuring the price of a kit, then a barrel and population, then miscellaneous parts(flat, 922, trigger)...and it's chambered in 308....lets just say that the value was way too favorable to pass up.

yep thats the same thing they told me. I ordered 2 cheapo mag locks on amazon this morning and they are due between Nov 6 and 12... and then I gotta mail them to classic firearms and then do the 10 day wait so... it'll probably be like Dec 01 by the time I take possession of my new toys. whatever lol

Edit: I forgot to mention, when they told me what they'd need for CA, they said that I have to provide the compliance parts but that they will install them free! Of course this is for an AK, i imagine an AR bb is a lot more of a PITA and they might charge for that, I didnt ask cuz I dont care about ARs

Yup, I think that's what I'll do.....weld the rear end of the receiver and add new yugo wooden furniture. I was debating a psl or m76 build, but for this price, the m77 wins.

I had to use a middleman when I bought mine early this year from Classic. Ive got two and they are pretty nice. One is unfired, the other I have about 300 rounds through it. The quality is much better than my saiga 308, and it doesnt damage brass like the saiga either. Each of mine came with two mags (of varying degrees of crappiness) and a factory inspection certificate from some other rifle.
