I aquired a 'in the white' FAB-10 last summer and that got me on the AR kick.. It is a very low number(below 80) Well, I FINALLY got off my rear and took it to my buddies shop and bead blasted it and took it to a anodizing shop in Hayward on Wednesday.. I just got my receiver back.. WOW!!!!

Ok.. there may be some confusion as to my FAB-10 and its serial number.. from what I have gleamed through PM's the last half hour or so.. I may have a custom number... NM00XX

it cost me $95 + 3% waste disposal and tax

but my lower was already prepped by me and ready to anodize when I dropped it off Wed. morning.

I am cms engine and back in the AR buisness.First, to answer the question on the serial numbers. Those MN numbers were custom numbers that were issued to MN Armory who is no longer in buisness.I only produced 477 lowers before I sold the patent rights to Shoeless Ventures.I thought it was a good idea at the time but turned out to be a mistake.Quality and service went in the turd bucket.I ALWAYS felt bad about it but I signed a confidentiality
agreement and a non competition clause.It has recently expired. Bushmaster now owns the patent rights,they purchased from Shoeless.The FAB10 lower is one of only 2 models that was ever issued a DOJ approval letter. It was the first and only one for 3 years.Vulcan is the other.There will never be another approval letter issued for an AR type lower in calif. again.Word is that some are pissed that these were done.From that standpoint,Ithink that one is worth keeping. I have some really kick butt stuff coming out in about 3 months.Patent work almost finished,then I will start releasing info.I will not sell the rights to this stuff,promise.I recently developed a new style lower for calif that has a tool release mag button.It works like the bullett button but it is machined into the reciever.It comes with a recessed mag button/mag catch already installed.I TRIED to get a approval letter, that is when DOJ said they no longer give the. You can check out the new model M22 at REH industries web site.I will be in touch in the future. Any one with questions about the FAB 10 or have problems, I have some spare springs and followers for them.

CMS thank you for posting here. I bought my Fab10 in 2002 from Traders in San Leandro. Without you, who knows what kind of cool stuff I wouldn't have now.

yea i got a fab10 from landg weaponry back in 2002. Good deal man, i was like the only one on the range with a neutered AR back then.

FAB10 kicks ***.

No one's ever asked me if it's CA legal. They know it's 100% CA AR15. I can load 5.56, 5.45, 6.5, 6.8, 458, and .50 Beowulf with just that same FAB10.

It's my most used lower, until CA lifts the ban... I'm still hoping...
