That's a great price for an excellent brake, I've got the MB on my Lilja and it's amazing how well it works.

I'm probably going to try one of these on my new BCM SS410 upper.

yes, but how does it sound
As long as it continues to annoy my lane partners, i’m game

On the real, $55 is a superb price point. Interested to learn more and waiting to see the reviews.

Wow I didn't know there was a $55 version, I thought these were over 100.

Do they make a 30cal for the same price? 14x1LH?

I've been running the same brake for a little over month. I have owned several surefire brakes and this model works just as well. Finish isn't as nice as the legacy and socom models but still isn't bad. It would be nice if they added or dimpled a spot for pin & weld purposes.

With that said, I will continue to get this model over the legacy/socom models. Well worth the money.

                Now a picture:

I might have to pick one up for my SPR-ish.

For a different gun, is it long enough to run on a 14.5" gun with a 15" handguard?

Mine is on a 14.5" barrel with the mega extended rifle length handguard, which is roughly 14.5". I didn't use the crush washer so you might be fine with it.

very good to hear… I have the MB556k on a 14.7" LWRC and it's incredible. Will be good to have a cheaper option on some non-go-to rifles in the arsenal.

                            1. Recoil on a 5.56?

                            2. Shoulder it properly and there is no muzzle rise

Do a 30 round mag dump as fast as you can looking thru a ret dot and you'll quickly notice a ar15 does in fact have muzzle rise. A good muzzle break will keep all those shots within a 4 inch target at 50 yards
