This is a 100% US company, based in Arizona. People are mistakenly takes it as Pakistani, but it's not. Other than the UNFORTUNATE acronym, these two companies are distinctively different. No offense to the Pakistani, but I doubt it if they can produce a rifle of this quality. I suppose that people got upset with its customer service so they started calling it Pakistani instead of Patriot. After a while the name sort of got stuck with them, and people who just get to know POF genuinely confuse too.

Mine is fine from day one, and I had close to a 1K rounds w/o a major cleaning. The only thing I did was wiping it down with WD40 to restore the shinning of the gun and back into the safe it went. As far as ammo goes, I feed it with only Priv Partizan. It seemed to love this ammo.

I've had excellent customer service from POF. They've been available, responsive and prompt. The two minor issues I had were my responsibility (I assembled my POF 308 lower and mated it to the upper I purchased directly from POF). It's an awesome battle rifle with sub MOA accuracy.

I picked up a gen3 P308 after POF released the gen4 and distributors were clearing out the earlier models. Great rifle, had a few hiccups the first time I took it out but those all went away after I gave it a good cleaning. Zero malfunctions since and the only cleaning I've done since the initial purge was to wipe down the piston. Shoots everything and shoots it well.

I have 3 POF rifles 2 in 5.56 and 1 in .308. I've been a fan of theirs for years. The barrels and the huge heat sink is what initially got me in their offerings. The MMR rail that they developed was ahead of the competition at the time. The company IMO set the bar for a couple of years at least lol. Although I do own offerings from other outfits I would say that POF is amongst the top manufacturers.

I have 2 POF rifles (P-415 P-308). Only issue with either was an ammo issue with the 308 that POF help me fix. Great staff and I have multiple 223/308 rifles, POF is by far the best. Worth the money in my opinion.

don't like their ugly proprietary monolithic rail. the thing is hideous. much rather prefer LWRCi to POS, oops, I mean POF
