    Thanks, but I did just that and I dug over a quarter inch into the wood, which i don't mind, but it didn't budge at all and I didn't want to bend up the receiver, the fit is definitely off in my rifle. Ill give it a try again though

        Good luck with the stock, mine took hours of multidirectional banging with a rubber mallet

          I guess I didnt try hard enough. I just figured oh well i just got a bad stock fit. Ill definitlu try again. Didnt know it was so common
