Replacement Stock for WASR 10

That does look nice! Here is the problem with the WASR's... They're all different... My WASR was had no issues after a good disassembly, cleaning and reassembly. That is, with the exception of the damn furniture.
Simple enough right, I'll by a new stock set? Wrong. I went with Tapco, I went with Timbersmith (also Tapco), and I even went with an Arsenal set. Months and hundreds of dollars later, I had nothing but issues.
So what did I do? I sent my original stock set off to a fellow CalGuns member (don't recall his handle) and had him refinish it for $50... I simply didn't have the time or space to do it myself. Best damn choice I ever made. He did a beautiful job, it was authentic and best of all, everything fit perfectly. (Note, I did replace the pistol grip with a Hogue and later a US Palm Battle Grip.)
Your experience and rifle may vary, but with a solid refinish, there is no reason to replace the original furniture unless it's damaged beyond repair. It's also 1/2 or even 1/3 the price of a new set.

Yeah I was in the same boat. The picture does not show it very well but I removed the crappy finish applied by Century Arms on my WASR, back to that surplus greyish metal look.
Also for the stock, I told the guy who refinished it for me to leave the defects and don't make it glossy. Again not shown very well in the picture but it had a perfect contrast between surplus/used and restored finish look.
After all, it was a mil-surp WASR, not an original AK collectors item or museum piece.ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕComment

Is the Timbersmith LONGER than the WASR stock? I like the looks of the WASR but its a little too short for me. My 5ft daughter fits fine but I cant get confy with thw WASR stock.Comment

There are two lengths for AK stocks... NATO length and Warsaw length.
The NATO version is the longer of the two, as NATO length is extended something like 1.25" vs. Warsaw length.
Just an FYI.ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕComment

I was not able to remove butt stock. I tried and tried, it just seems stuck in there. I didnt wanna beat it uo to bad with the screwdriver to get it out. So I just refinished with it still attached. And I think it came out real well. Heres some pics. Lighting sucks an its taken with a iphone 4s.

Mine wouldn’t come out so I pried it out with a large screw driver. You can hardly tell. Just left a little mark that you can’t see if the gun isn’t disassembled. You can stick the screwdriver threw a hole and kinda use a gentle prying motion (hey it’s a WASR not a collectors piece).I was not able to remove butt stock.
