Looking for AR-10 differences guide.

I've googled the hell out of the internet, and I can't find a page that simply goes over the different AR-10/AR-308 "styles".

Is there a handy guide for someone who wants to know as much as possible before actually committing to buying an AR10/AR308 lower, so that I'll know what kind of upper I'll need, what the differences are, and why I would go for one over the other?

I would have thought there would be one at arfcom, but I can't seem to find one there either.

It is possible my search-fu is quite weak, so please help a guy out here.

To start u have 2 different platforms... You can get most of the info on here and kind of piece it together. It's kind of a cluster F!

Armalite/Noveske

I asked months ago why there are two differnt platforms - couldn't get a satisfactory answer - we are where we are. Personally I am saving my pennies t bui;d on a AERO lower - with an armalite upper.
