Well he would have to find a factory base plate to hold the floor plate on, since the whole point is that the limiter replaces one of the factory parts and not just modifies one.Originally posted by TeddyBallgamemaybe I'm wrong, but, if a $50.00 investment can help me a bit, i'll just have to go a day without the hookers and blow to cover itOriginally posted by ir0nclash86I would wipe it off for the simple fact of not wanting to get sprayed in the face with it during the first few rounds.Originally posted by Ride MadoneIt does not matter. An AR is the very best and safest weapon to use for home defence.Comment

Yes, as long as it is "permanently" modified. With those magblocks, as long as you rivet/epoxy the magblock floor plate to the base plate , it's legal. Done this way, you can no longer remove base plate to clean the mag. This is the condition the gun shops sell it as."Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. I can see a LEO arresting or confiscating a mag because their own interpretation of it may not be correct to what is actually legal. However, if a LEO went to that much trouble to modify a magazine that they've confiscated only to make you commit a felony, which would seem highly unlikely, then you probably have bigger things to worry about.Comment

I love this gun, and am glad that it is rare in CA. What is the error you refer to?Comment

I read somewhere today on one of the manufacturer's websites to use Crazy Glue for baseplates with these limiters.
Also, I wonder if these limiters are fully compatible with Pmag M3 Generation.Last edited by ifilef; 01-02-2014, 8:04 PM.Comment

I'm just going to stick with the reduced capacity factory 10 round pmags for now. No confusion there.Comment

the limiters are a part of the magazine. it will not work (floorplate will not mount w/o it).
replacing the limiter portion with a non-limter baseplate ( manufacturing a "hi-cap), is the same adding a +2 floorplate on a standard 10rnd. that doesn't make 10 rounders illegal because they can be converted to 12 rounders by swapping 1 part.
that is my opinion. the law is so ambiguous that no one knows wtf is black and what is white.

There are newer limiters available for the M3 PMAGS.

Update: Now that I looked at it, sorry I did. I think that certain people like to overly complicate the issue.Last edited by ifilef; 01-02-2014, 9:28 PM.Comment

The error was buying a non-rostered gun that does not apparently have 10-rd magazines, and then complaining about it. If it were a rostered gun it would be sold with 10 round magazines.Comment
