I buy the 20-packs of the rifle chamber flags. I tied one to my front rest, one to my chest rig, I've got them tied up all over the place to all kinds of things. You give them to guys at the range to use as flags, and they act like you're some kind of a giant philanthropist. The range crew appreciates it, and they treat you like you're freaking Bill Gates. Really.

Really."Self defense is not a fashion show. A defensive handgun is not a little black dress, or a purse."
Remember, the overwhelming majority of anti-gun thinkers are not stupid enough to be "afraid of guns." They are afraid of stupid/immature/crazy psycho people with guns.
And as always, being friendly, courteous, and respectful is the easiest way to bend people to your will. -
I use a little hex key, it's actually made to change the fins on a surfboard, and I have it on a small retractable keyring that clips on my belt. (The lanyard thing is the same as the one Cessna Driver posted above)
Works well and is always in the same spot, I can just let go of it after releasing the mag and it snaps right back to my belt.

It's the closest thing I've found to standard usage. It does take a second to make sure the binding post makes it in the bullet button, but that is going to be the case with anything. Obviously it would be in the way on the index finger, I don't want anything messing with manipulating the trigger. I've been using it so long, it is second nature at this point. Also, whether it is sitting in the sun or the rate of fire, guns get hot, gloves make a lot of sense. $10 bucks at Home Depot for some deerskin gloves and a binding post and you are on your way.Once the Second Amendment has been carefully debilitated, all the rest will be easy.Comment
