How many LEO's do you know are aware of the complex AWB/OLL Laws?
Given that statics on them knowing OLL laws. Do you really think they would know how to look for full auto?

I will bet that they would just confiscate it and allow the professionals/courts to determine if it's legal or not.
Don't you know the rule?? Never open the safe in front of the wife!!!

      x2

youll be in jail and we'll be donating to your court case (or maybe not since this is a really stupid reason to get arrested)

having a fake selector that clicks to the 3rd position makes as much of a statement as a 10 rd beta C mag

Agree, it seems like an awful lot of "potential" trouble for something that doesn't add any functionality or other redeeming qualities to the rifle.

Uh, this is the reason that Mr. Olofson is serving time right now.
On the 3rd position the disconnector won't grab the hammer, so the hammer will ride the carrier back, with obvious results.
DO NOT put an M16 selector in your AR.

The only way for the M16 selector to hold the disconnector back preventing it from catching the hammer is to have a M16 trigger with the open back and a M16 disconnector with the tail on it.
Plenty of companies use a M16 disconnector with the tail ground off in thier parts kits.

That was my expectation, as that is what happens with the FAL selector, but it is not the case with the M-16.
