            don't forget to hit it with a coat or two of sealant to protect the wood, Howard's Feed and Wax...

              Thanks.... Word of advice use am old cotton tshirt. In all seriousness the only reason I had to sand with 220 is because I used a coarser rag during the initial clear coats and I could see wipe marks. If you start the poly process with a fine tshirt as an applicator then 0000 steel wool is all you need.... But minwax says use 220 not steel wool so go figure.

              Before your first coat of anything douche a rag with acetone and get all the surface oils off..... Use gloves each time you handle it to keep it oil free.... It should come out nice for you.
