eh, I had an out of spec ak hammer and trigger from parts kits, I was test firing and it "burst" fired. Nobody around me even looked at me, but the range officer told me "only one shot per second".
Yes, check those disco springs and inspect your sear /trigger

I have seen poorly cleaned SKS slam fire as well. as long as you put it away or fix it immediately, hopefully, people will understand it was an accident

Probably would be more of a real world test to function check it cleared and assembled like we do in the military. Clearn, bolt forwars, check safe, pull trigger (should not fire) Flip to semi, pull and hold the trigger (sould fire), pull back on the charging handle/release, release trigger chould hear a clunk, Pull trigger again it should firem then try to place on safe. It shouldnt go to safe with the hammer forward.

On new triggers, or ones that have just had trigger work done, on top of the military function test, I'll cock the hammer, and then hit the floor with the butt of the rifle to make sure that the hammer doesn't drop.
