To go FDE or stay black

I'm trying to decide if I should turn my AR into a FDE, not fully FDE but stock, handguard, pistol grip or should I keep it black? I like both colors but fde would blend more with the environment.

Paint the hardguards, upper and lower whatever color you want, leave the furniture black. That looks better IMO.

However, I'm kind of over it. My next build will be an all black AR47 pistol.

Simply a mark of personalization so there is no argument as to who owns it

I prefer my rifle to have the appropriate color for my geographical area.

Gray does look badazz, tho.
