I had my hammer spring installed backwards, and in my 1st firefight, I could only fire four rounds FA, and the 5th. would jam. It fired fine in semi- auto. My armor reversed the spring, but I remember the spring being a bent bar or lief-torsion type, and not the coil- did Colt have a different design in 1967?

                                Thanx Dante'
