Proper installment of AR LPK springs

Ok, I have only assembled two lowers, so that hardly counts as being experienced. But I have taken a couple of pictures, because I noticed several posts of backward hammer springs, or disconnector springs being swapped with the bolt catch spring.

Differences between the bolt catch spring vs disconnector spring.

Correct hammer spring installation vs backwards.

Please let me know if I made a mistake, I don't want to cause more false information on the net.

Very nice pictures and all...Nicely done. My spring came from Stag backwards and hung me up a bit but I caught it. Have you solved your problem or still no luck? Here is the guide I used, book mark it.

        Placement of Disconnector spring

Don't forget to put the disconnector spring, with the wider portion of the spring into the trigger assembly. For clarity of the photo, I have not inserted the trigger retaining pin on this picture. For that reason, the disconnector looks slightly askew.

Funny you should mention that, my stag LPK hammer spring came preinstalled on the hammer backwards as well. Is everyone receiving it packaged that way?

Those are some really nice pictures. When you become more experienced and feel confident in your AR15 building abilities, you should make a how-to guide.. with pictures!

I noticed that the last build that I did had a weak hammer spring it it. So I thought. It was just backwards. Thanks for the great pics!

You should have a Mod in this section of Calguns delete all the responses and ad a sticky to it.

The guys that got in trouble in the bay area had the disconnector spring in backwards....it went FA from what I hear.
