M4 Upper opinions? Comments?

I am looking for an AR-15 upper and found this on PSA. It looks like it will do the job, but the price makes me ask "worth it?" Anyone have any comments or ideas if this is a good buy? http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...ng-handle.html

PSA are very good and are built as close to MilSpec as all the other "Top Tier" companies out there. The barrel is made by FN and is HPT MP tested and an ambi charging handle is included for free. I'm not impressed by the rail being poly, but I haven't seen or ever used one. On the bright side you don't need rail covers sine the rail will never get hot.

I prefer a mid-length gas system, and definitely don't think much of the plastic rail, but that price is certainly good, and PSA is a decent vendor.

PSA makes decent stuff. They have much nicer ones.

I tend to prefer mid-length also. You'll need a Bolt carrier group, add 150? PSA makes a decent upper & no, they are not all the same.

I have a PSA upper, not the same one but similar. Very good quality and accurate as well

Thanks for all the replies. I may pass on this one even with the good price. If I was to get a carbine length gas system, then I would want the shorter barrel. I also know that with so much barrel sticking out, one tends to get burnt (don't ask me how I now that!). I'll wait patiently for PSA to fill their inventory and keep working on my AK build instead.
