Cool idea, but the iPhone can't even take the minor punishment from a 5.56 round. I used to make videos of me just shooting down range. I'd setup my iPhone about 2 feet away from my rifle on the bench, pointed it down range, and shot at some targets from 25-200 yards. After about 20 shots my iPhone's microphone and speaker had died. Luckily, tried it again and the sound came back after a few more shots. Like I said... cool, but needs to be more rugged.Originally Posted by paul0660:

Well that look useful.
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!Comment

This is as useless as a $3 dollar bill.

Their site had -no- videos of this in action which is really weird for something that was already getting news coverage. And as Ziggy91 mentions, anything above rimfire will probably shake something to failure in the iPhone.
But it would be pretty cool to try out on an old iphone you didn't depend on.Comment

Looks cool, but I doubt I'd buy one-let alone mount one to my rifle.Comment

Another way to separate you from $70!
But if you get one, let us know how it works!
Sorry, not sorry.

Dear autocorrect, I'm really getting tired of your shirt!Comment

I think if someone developed a screen capable to live stream from a GoPro, it would be not only better optically and sensor quality, but also be much more rugged as people mount these on cars and they go flying off of them, and the GoPro red light keeps blinking on.
I know few people that make shooting and fishing videos with GoPro mounts, it'll just take an extra step to adapt a screen to the setup.
