AR's for dummies thread?

If so, is it stickied anywhere?

If not can someone please make one or help me out?

I'm getting a complete mega lower soon, not sure what to do next. Obvious I need an upper, but 5 w's and an h?

start with those topics, you can use the cgn google search. top right hand corner. and you're welcome.... we are all noobs at one time. there should be a sticky on everything ar, since there are many noobs coming into the scene, enjoy.

Like I said when I typed in"AR" I got half of the website and gave up.
I'll start with the following links.
And yes a noob to AR's...I admit I normally shoot pistols and shot guns. A few C&Rs in the safe, but this is what my little collection lacks.

But I think the collection glock7 just posted looks more informative, frankly. Do check out the above link, however, as there is some important info in there, but once you're ready for more, these links look great. I know I'm about to wade into them, myself!
