ok I seen this really nice stag arms rifle.http://www.stagarms.com/leftyrifles.html tell me what you guys think to start off. I prefer either the Stag-15L with Carry Handle
Model 1L Pre-Ban or the
Stag-15L with A.R.M.S. #40L
Model 2TL Pre-Ban
tell me if you think its agood deal

I think Stag is a very good product for the price. Unfortunately, Stag Arms is not going to ship that rifle directly to California. You can build the exact same rifle, for less, by drosing a Stag stripped lower receiver somewhere locally and buying the rest of the parts and assembling it yourself. In addition to the lower receiver, you need the following:

Bullet Button
Stag Lower Parts Kit
Stag Tactical Stock
Stag 1HL Upper Assembly (or 2HL, 2HTL, etc...)

I've got all the Stag left handed uppers in stock at the moment.

Shopping carts are a wonderful thing - you add the items you want to it and it totals it up for you About $700 + tax for left handed 1HL upper, stag lpk with ambi-selector, and tactical stock. So about $750 total + price of your lower. Lower should be about $150 if you find it locally.

i just took my 1st build out this weekend. stag 1H upper and OLL. I love it. No problems with feeding or ejecting. got the iron sights all zeroed in and it works great.

Purchased a complete STAG 2T rifle from Chris with BB installed and I have taken the 2T to the range a few times and very accurate and no problems so far.

Personally, I would avoid Stag. CMT's commercial side of the business has NO WHERE near the quality of the parts that they supply in their gov't contracts. I've seen all sorts of questionable QC come out of Stag including some poorly built uppers from the factory (with OBVIOUS signs that they rushed them out the door).
