      A lower is a lower. They don't do much except hold parts in place. A good lower is a decent priced one now a days...

          I have put together a couple hundred lowers and the only ones i didnt care for were DSA and LRB lowers.

              Just about any forged lower will make a 100% reliable, accurate rifle: the upper does all the 'work'.

              There is likely as much variation within any given brand's run than between brands from any mfgr, esp as many come off the same few forges.

              To answer your question specifically, CMMG is fine.

              [Exceptions might be found in excoriated Vulcan, Hesse products of some years ago as well as various cast lowers from the 90s]

                        cmmg is top quality bro.... but listen to all of us. a lower is a lower... i got a noveske on my tricked out AR cause they have the coolest logo and a nice finish... really thats what it boils down to.
