Disassemble the BCG and bolt. Clean it, and lube it good.

I did but once it gets to the end it stops 1/2 CM off.

The mags are brand new I just got the yesterday. I did check the gas tube and it looks good.

Yeah 'OP try pulling back on the charging handle and letting it go-no forward movement on your pulling hand whatsoever. When I used to ride the charging handle I could still get my AR's to chamber but I can see why the bcg would have problems...

If it's working fine with 6-8 rounds... it's probably your magazines.

Are you using regular 10 rds mags or are you using some sort of blocked 10/30 mags? Some of those 10/30 mags hold that 10th round super snug... down load your mags for the next 100 rds to smooth out your action/bolt/etc. Then fully load your mags to see if it goes away.

Does it go into battery OK when there's no mag? Was the gun wet or were you firing it dry? Use a better lube. There are lots of them out there that are better than Remoil.

This is also another good point. I sometimes get a little trouble from 10/30 'mags-the factory 10 round 'mags work perfectly. I'd stick with factory 10 round 'mags but they look ridiculous, lol...

AT first it was a bit dry but then on of the workers helped me out and we oiled it up and it still gave me the problem.

I know right it just does not look right but I will give the original 10 rounders that came with the gun.

Too much tension in the 10/30 PMAGs when fully loaded.

I have the DT Sport too and mine has been flawless. Did you get a metal 10 round D&H mag with yours? If so try that mag to see if you still have the problem. I also have the PMAG 10/20 that works well for me too. Hopefully you can get this resolved and it sounds like you will have plenty of fellow Calgunners to help at the range.

Oh dear lord, the AR15 was designed to be virtually foolproof. Take it back, it is clearly defective.

If for some reason it is not, you will be shown proper procedures for operation.

Okay so I went and to the range today and I used the original 10rd mags that came with the rifle and shoot over 120rd and everything worked like a charm. then I used a USGI 10/30 mag and it also worked great. And then I used the PMags with 8-10 rd in them and when you loaded the rifle the bolt wouldn't push the round in all the way in. But when I would try a PMag with 6-7 rd it worked. So it's something with these 10/30 PMags, when they are full they're not feeding right something is slowing the bolt down. What I want to do is fill them up with 10 rd and just leave them like that for a few weeks maybe its the spring that's to strong.
