Tell me about it. I place an order for a complete kit and yesterday decided to drive to several LGSs to see what stuff was going for. Now when I went to one shop a week before the school shooting, they were selling Stag A3 complete uppers for $500, IMHO way too much but I'm probably wrong. Said shop had an armalite compete A3 w/ detachable carry handle for $800 and a Stag w/ a full length quad rail for $900. In a panic, I grabbed both and walked to the register. While waiting at the register for 10 minutes (thank god), I noticed the armalite was used and $800. After throwing up in my mouth for a minute, I placed both back on the wall and walked out. Another LGS had 5 stripped lowers for $375, which were $90 two weeks ago. I decided to wait out the lead time with my order.
