Even if they somehow make the BB illegal, I'm sure we'll come up with a key system or something like that that works just like a BB but you need a spring tensioned key.

Thats what I was thinking. A hex style tensioned button. Im gonna get a BB anyways. Along with a MMG though JIC...

I read it's legal as long both the gun and child are locked in separate cases to and from the range.

+1 my almost 2 year old is a gunatic in the making and even he wouldnt be able to manipulate a BB with his finger if I offered all of the M&M's in the world to him.

Just for ****s and giggles I had my daughter (almost 3) try. Finger would not fit.

As a reference she is not as round as her daddy. Also if she could I doudt she would be strong enough to actuate the button.
