so i cut off the barrel sleeve this morning and the barrel was factory threaded! LH for sure, and i imagine they are 14x1mm threads.

for the east german 74 style brake, are those 24x1.5RH? or are there other sizes for 24mm threads, ie 1mmLH or RH, 1.5mm LH, etc. all adapters i have seen online simply say 24mm, leading me to believe that most devices will be the same.
