And if you already have a lower, I'll install my hard chromed and polished mil-spec trigger so you can try that one too.

Geissele are nice triggers at various price points for many different applications.

If you go Geissele, look up Kevin/Tier One Arms here on the forum. Good guy and best prices! I just sent him a PM for current price list on an SD-E.

I have a SSA-E from Geissele and really like it in my POF P308. I have a Timney in my POF P416 and really like also. Very minor difference in shooting them, but the 308 is the set up to go longer distances. The Timney in the P416 is for 200yds and less for me. With either you won't be disappointed

It's hard to move from Geissele.

But if I was to downgrade, RRA NM is not a bad choice, which can be tweaked to be really nice trigger.

So what is the difference between the ssa and the ssa-e? Anybody try both?

Ssa-e has a lighter trigger pull.

take a look at the ALG ACT Trigger, its milspec with a clean break, a great value and stays within milspec.
