Anyone buying lowers, bolts, etc now that Obama is in for another 4 years???

If you waited until now to stock ammo, or buy a critical primary firearm, you might as well just forget about it.

That's pretty much the thing... Yesterday, the day prior, and today, there is no gouging and there wasn't any increase. That window is closing and getting in before the gouging is almost at an end.

Ammo is scarce and they announced a hike in price. (got mine before that)Distributors are low on EBR types, I'd imagine those may go up too.
I'm not buying because of impending doom and gloom bans... I'm buying because I know people are panic buying and I want the **** I need before I can't get it or it costs 2X what it should. Mission accomplished.

New frontier complete lower, 104 shipped, 10 transfer. Really cant complain.

In most cases that only goes so far, and that is exactly what IS happening. everyone IS buying what is out there, drying up the pool at an abnormally fast rate.
Replenishing that pool with the demand still high is what causes the increase. We'll see that here shortly. The issues we saw last time were in manufacturing
and production. They just couldn't make it as fast as people were buying it. Thus creating a shortage and amplifying supply and demand.

When you can't make your rent by selling 5 AKs at below MSRP like you used to because you can't even get 5 AKs- you stop giving deals and sell the one AK you can get at MSRP...


.....and then some CG'er buys that AK and sells it for $200 MORE on the forum.

I dros'ed a AR lower Tuesday night but I would have done so regardless of who won. Had a spare upper and LPK sitting sitting around without a mate and that just didn't seem right.

The funny thing about these price increases is that the expensive stuff doesn't raise very much, just the low end goes nuts.

Yup, it's the low-end stuff that most people buy and this is a good indication that the increases are not due to material prices.

didn't this hording and gouging happen last time around. Some shops stocked up on ammo like only hoarders can and took them a long while to get rid of or has good sales on it. I need some more cheap ammo......

I knew I should have made my AR purchase a week ago before all this BS. I guess I am glad I didn't because I would have had an AR but no ammo. Great, now I am going to have to wait even longer.
