Why take it personal? Your opinion is it looks "cool" and others are that it looks stupid. Also if others explain why it might not be useful in any way it is there choice to say so. This is an open forum, is it not?

Enh, I just get tired of people pretending they don't buy guns because they're cool and ****ting on airsofters cause they're not using real bullets. I think the only guns on this forum that have had any "Ops" run on them are the Mausers and Mosins in the C&R section.

So the whole "damn, that thing is useless" line of logic doesn't really hold water. If you paint your rifle FDE but you live in LA or Nor Cal, you're doing the same damned thing. Cooling it up for looks.

That customization could go both ways in terms of usefulness. But some would say that looks cool or stupid too based on their opinion. See how that works? Not trying to be a jerk. Just saying... and on a side note colors won't have an effect on function where as that comp might/will if it is real.

That thing is has a hole for 14mm ammunition, made of some kind of chineese metal substitute and attaches with a set screw. Theoretically, there is no reason why you can't just stick it on the end of your AR. Have fun.

You just described half the people on this forum, man. We spend millions of dollars on training courses, guns, accessories, TACTICAL VESTS... NAME TAGS, HELMETS FFS... With absolutely zero intention of stepping out onto a two way range with the exception of some bull**** SHTF Walter Mitty scenario that we know is never going to play out the way we make believe it is to justify buying a bunch of cool toys.

Quit pretending like the fact that it shoots real bullets means you're any more legitimate or serious than the guys who play shoot 'em up with Airsoft guns. Sure, plenty of our members are .mil or xmil, but for every one of them there's a hundred who have no qualms about laughing at the airsofters while they shoot steel in Head-to-Toe Multicam with a plate carrier on.

The point is that with airsoft you can get away with unrealistic and useless crap that you wouldn't normally do with say... steel components due to weight, port designs due to gasses, and so on.

Additionally, the top rail is worthless when using an optic that doesn't require a mount that far forward, and anything on that rail at all would just make it easier to torque the muzzle device off(or throw off your zero).

The ports on the front appear to be on the bottom side of the bore instead of the top side possibly increasing muzzle climb, it doesn't appear that it would be an effective brake due to the port size, and the thing would end up weighing a pound or more making the rifle extremely front heavy for no gain.

With the weight involved, they might be trying to counter muzzle droop so you can keep it up.
