I experimented with an Aimpoint Micro. The further from the eye it is, the more precisely the eye must be located to pick up the red dot inside the tube

Looks good so far. How was it at the range?
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

Looks cool. Magpul sights are extremely durable. And very good quality. There is a drop test floating around , magpul was the only one of the brands that were usable after one drop, and were the same on the 2nd drop too.

Looks good... But you don't really need 2 threads about it.

+1 ... If your going to be running a red dot all the time I wouldn't waste my money on $180+ back up sights. The MBUS IMO is very durable and make great back up sights.
