first try at ar.hope its good

I took my time with the build. Ok not really. Bought the lower thinking that's how it was going to be but before the ten days had a pile of parts lying around. I learned everything about assembling the rifle by shuffling through this site. Id like to say thanks and show my results.

    Grizzly lower:
    CMMG lower parts kit:
    Magpul moe grip:
    Magpul ctr 6 pos stock
    Mbus front and rear (temporary)
Gun show free float quad rail (temporary)
    Gun show barrel but
    Troy Claymore muzzle brake
    Armalite upper assembly
    Armalite 20" 1/9 barrel.
Custom backpack style paracord sling (really near for easy carry)
    G.p.s. Gripod vg/ bipod

There will be changes. Any advice would be nice.thanks for looking.

    Also shoots great.

Both together just 100' . Well maybe like ten feet left over in the end. I plan on double backing over it one more time to make it thicker

That looks great! Spectacular first build; I like how it looks kinda "found". But I'd probably put that optic a little closer to yo' face!

I run my red dot (similar to yours) a bit behind the front sight post on my 16" and love it. I'm interested to hear if there is any real advantage to pulling it closer in or not...

I like the front sight where its at. i was shooting really tight groups of five rounds at thirty yards. Im new to shooting and just learned from my best friend some tips.
groups were smaller than an inch. Tjen taking out bulls eyes
