Answer: Steel-jacketed and bi-metal ammunition is not allowed during the dry months of the year due to fire danger. However, we do allow this ammunition to be used during the wet season.

They don't allow it at ranges for fear of sparks and a resulting fire. And I'm sure Angeles doesn't allow it due to damage to their steel targets along with the fire hazard.

They allow it during the wet season, but it's not guaranteed. Always call to check with them at burro canyon.

The ammo is steel jacketed like most steel case ammo.Ammo to Go has S&B ammo 95 for 200.Brass cased and copper jacket bullet so you can reloaded because for now the Yugo surplus 7.62x39 has dried up most likely due to the conflicts in the middle east.

Easiest thing is grab a magnet if it sticks no go.. Bimetals..

If it doesn't your good to go.. At least from what I understand I bleieve steel cases is ok at burro just no magnetic ammo

If not I guess the desert is your friend. Sucks not being able to shoot magnetic at Angeles, it's the reason I haven't shot any 762 there
