21 AR Pistol Grips Compared

Did a search and didn't find this in the archive, and I stumbled upon it as I was looking for that exact same kind of feature (rethinking the ergos on my A1):

Nice, but beside the pictures there is no real comparison.

I would like to see them broken down to compare their strengths and weaknesses by a number of testers with different sized hands. And maybe a feature matrix.

I love the Tango Down B16, Magpul MIAD, and MOE.

I however wasn't aware of the Vikings Tactics Pistol Grip, and it caught my eye...

I like the Tango Down and the Troy CQB is nice.

I don't know how VTac makes their grips but you might be able to duplicate that with an A2 grip, some sand paper and a soldering iron.

Smaller hands and carpal tunnel issues have turned me on to Magpul's MOE-K.

Smaller hands and carpal tunnel issues have turned me on to Magpul's MOE-K.

I actually really like these for AR pistols. They let you tuck the gun up tighter than you can with an A2 grip. The angle torques your wrist less when you use it like that. It also works well on ARs for people with smaller hands. My one complaint about it is how little texture it has.

I use the "Hogue/Mega" Grip on mine. Fits my hand perfectly and is very comfortable, even after extended shooting. Love it!

I used to love the Magpul MIAD and MOE grips, then I tried a Sierra Precision. Lefties will hate it, but otherwise it's an awesome grip.
