    I own an AR15, do I need an AK-47?

    I own an AR-15, the AK-47 seems like a very cool gun to own to diversify the collection but do I need one if I already have an AR15? My collection is a variety of guns that are great shooters (i.e. Glocks, M&P9 & M&P40, 1911's, GSG 1911 .22, Ruger MKIII .22, S&W 22S Target .22, two Ruger 10/22's, Browning BAR's & HiPowers, S&W Revolvers, Colt Revolvers, Remington BDL 30-06 and a 742 Woodsmaster .308, and a Noveske AR15 N4 Light MOE, some shotguns, etc).

    ...if "Yes", what brand is a great bang for the buck, authentic look/wood furniture... I think I know the answer to the question though, WASR...

    To be, or not to be: that is the question:

    The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
    Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
    And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;

                  There is about 5 threads for the past 2 weeks asking which AK..

                  But my answer in all of them is the WASR. (AK pictured)

                  Pretty hard to beat just make sure you check it and make sure its a good one and take her home. Also more thought of it on my YouTube channel linked in my sig.

                      My vote for a quality AK would be an Arsenal 21. It is not a traditional AK 47 (74 bolt and 90 degree gas tube) but is the closest mil spec style out there. Looks like the current AK 103 and great accuracy for AK. I have ran over 2500 rounds of anything I got my hands on from corrosive brass to wolf not one problem of any kind except where to find cheap ammo in stock lol. Good luck

                          Looks like you already made up your mind and just needed a little push.

                          As others have said, check out the WASR 10. But do your research first.

                              Thanks, WASR seems to be the general consensus across all the other threads I have read. I have found the best route to be doing a little research, buying something that offers good bang for the buck, get a feel for the platform, then if i love it, go head on in the research and buy a nicer firearm.
