    Difference between AR pins...

I put together a couple lowers together a few years back and haven't had to take them apart since.
I ordered some spare parts to have just in case and it included a trigger and hammer pin.
I can't see any difference between the two. They were two different part #'s..
    Is there a difference?
    Thanks your time...

I've never noticed different pins, unless you get into a KNS anti-walk pin set or something like that. The ones I have used, and that we sell, are interchangeable.

Edit- Err nevermind... Misread the question...

Original post - Older colts had different size pins (large). Most lowers And other manufactures use standard pins (small).

A hammer pin with only the center groove would be nice some times.

All of my hammers seem to get a death grip on that groove and if I drive it out from the wrong side it grabs the side groove on the way out.

With a hammer specific pin, driving it out either way would be the same.

On the other hand, you would be screwed if you somehow wound up with two hammer specific pins and no universal/trigger pin.
