I guess I got the least accurate one? At least it has factory dimples.

Sort of like the pre 86 Mini14 with a 1:10 twist barrel.

Don't know why Saiga did that. Must be a Russian thing. Or a bad tradeoff.
Unfired, I wonder what weight bullets they used to test it. It's a 2006. I'll try different weights when I get it going.

I'm going to try REALLY hard not to bring my calipers with me to the range tomorrow.

I don't understand how saiga can claim the spread for each gun.
I reload and can tell you that .3 of grain can open up your group by .5"
I think if you reload for a saiga testing different loads you will find an moa or maybe if you are super lucky sub moa load.
I pick up my saiga on Thursday so I started loading for it, I ll post more after I test.

Gun makers do it all the time. Some guarantee MOA accuracy...

AK's aren't all that bad. Sighting in two different AKs (all the AKs I've sighted in), I shot three-round groups at 50 yards with the holes all touching (both Romy G kits on NDS-3 receivers). If they're only capable of 3-5 MOA, that would be 1.5-2.5 inches at 50 yards? They were quite a bit tighter than that... Maybe 2 MOA.
