    Cops Saw My Hi-Point Carbine

So at 6:40am today im sleeping and then I get a knock in my bedroom door that wakes me up, it was my Dad telling me to come out of my room I dont get up that early so I just kind of lay in my bed trying to wake up then I hear a second voice call me out "Sergio this is the Santa Ana Police please come out NOW!!" that certainly woke me up quick. So I get up step out and about eight police officers are lined up just outside my door. I had no idea what was going on they just told me to sit in the couch and start asking me if I have any firearms so I said yes (they were already searching my room and had found a handgun I have next to my bed). they also brought out my STAG-15 lower and upper (lower is not assembled) and my hi-point carbine with BB and the head guy just asked me if the lower was pre of post ban I say post then he asked me what the weird looking rifle was I ask which one, as I have a few, he says "the black assault weapon looking one. Is it a .22?" then I tell him its actually a 9mm but the magazine cannot be manipulated with your hand. He seemed to accept that response and that was it. They left just like that.

Why were they at your door, why did they have your name, did they have a warrant, if not, why were they in your house and searching your room...

Doesn't sound like he asked for a warrant or told them to stop searching. I guess to LE that means go right ahead.

lol...!!!! It's like the most random police interaction post ever. "And this one time, at band camp with my Hi-Point carbine..."

"War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. Only a small 'inside' group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

I would tell your family if it ever happens again not to let them in without a warrant.

What do you mean it was the wrong house?

Im going to guess that the dad invited them in and gave them Sergio's name since it was the wrong address.

They were investigating someone else and ended up at his house, the wrong one.

Now that I think of it they probably had a warrant for the house they were supposed to search.

This smells fishy. Did they tell you it was the wrong house? How did you know it was the wrong house? Did they have a warrant for your house, but the wrong occupant? Are you sure they weren't really just using an excuse to look at your guns?

Need more info and background on this please.

Then they had absolutely NO right to search anything upon being informed that the person listed on the warrant doesnt live there.

Sounds like you need to sit your dad down in front of a computer with calguns for an afternoon

What the ****? Unless you had the same name as the guy they were looking for, why did they search your **** anyways?
