New GEN 2 AR57-LEM ?

I've searched around to get more info and/or review on it as I'm considering on the 5.7 platform as a new AR owner who is on a first build but there is not much out there.

Found only one "review" here

Does anyone have any experience with it? What are pros and cons of the differences between the gen1 and 2? One pound less weight is a welcome but would that translate to more felt recoil? Would it be worth $50 differences?

The recoil on the 5.7 round would best be described as light. Shaving a 1lb is not going to make much of a difference in terms of recoil.

Looks like they extended the rear top rail too for more optics mounting options....
